Don and I have just celebrated our 24th  Anniversary, and are living in Alpine. Don is retired from the Navy and is enjoying a second career/hobby as a self-employed handyman.    I am the president of the Never Too Late Club,  having gone back to school when Don retired, and received my Nursing Degree the same year our son Andrew graduated from High School.  I am LOVING my second career  as a Labor and Delivery Nurse!   The Lord has blessed us with four wonderful children and the icing on the cake of life: 2  grandchildren.

Aubrianna is 28, and married to Nate; a career Navy man. They are living in Guam and have given us 2 adorable grandsons (James is 5  John is 3). They are expecting again, so  I look forward to a trip to Guam to catch my  third  grandbaby in late November. 

Benjamin is 22, living at home, going to college part time and working full time at Home Depot. 

Andrew is 21, living at home, going to college part time and working full time at Vons.

Rosie, our “last Hurrah”  is 15,  living at home, homeschooling full time and working part time at Little Caesar’s.  

I am amazed to add up where I have been and what I have done in the last thirty years!  I have been married, widowed, spent 4 years as a single parent,  and remarried.   I have  played Navy wife,  Homeschool Mom,  Registered Nurse,  Mother of the Bride,  and my favorite role of all: Nana the Magnificent! 

I have given birth in Japan, and delivered a baby in Japanese in America.

I rode an elephant in Thailand, a Star Ferry in Hong Kong,  a JetCat in Sydney, Australia, the Bullet Train in Japan, and one particularly scary bus in South Korea. 

Yep, life has been quite a ride so far!  It has been great to read the updates of others and see how the Lord has led us down different paths.  I look forward to see you all at the reunion.
