David and I have lived in Bakersfield for the past 17 years, and I have slowly grown to appreciate where God sent us. We have two daughters, both at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  Alyse is graduating this year with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and will be working for Habitat for Humanity in North Carolina for the next year.  Emma is in the Architectural Engineering program and has 2 more years.  They are both great young women.  David has been teaching maximum security male offenders in the LA jail system, and has done so for 17 years now.  I have been a professor at Bakersfield College for about 14 years.  I seem to be addicted to going to school, so have just finished my PhD and am now the Dean of Learning Resources and IT for BC.
