I’m living in Mason Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, and am still working for Procter & Gamble, the company I started with after graduating from San Diego State in December 1982.  I spent my first 8 years with the company in various Sales assignments in California, and have spent the last 17 years in a variety of Logistics roles focused on various businesses domestic and global.  I’m currently assigned as a Finished Product Logistics Cost manager in our global Household Care business.  My current assignment affords the opportunity for much international travel.  The travel can be great fun, and a big challenge as well…it ain’t what it used to be, that’s for sure.  Nonetheless, every trip brings the promise of meeting new people, seeing old friends, and experiencing foreign culture.

Being single, with no kids, I don’t have updates on exciting family stories. Dad passed away in October 2005, but Mom is still living in San Diego and in great health.  She’s getting into travel, touring Europe with me and some friends last July, and planning a trip to Israel in June.  She’s definitely still a party girl, and even flew to my place for a weekend last December just to come to my Christmas Party.  My sister Sue and her husband live in Fremont where Sue works at an Elementary School, and Tom is Senior Pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  Their daughter Jenny is the sixth grade teacher at the church school, and son Jason is a sophomore at Long Beach State.  My brother John lives with his wife Dawna and their three children, Christine, Nick and Tess, in Alpine.  John followed Dad into the construction business and has his own company.

I picked up the fishing bug a few years ago, and now enjoy an annual fishing trip to Sitka Alaska with my Uncle Glen and various friends.  It’s not exactly the “Deadliest Catch” but it can be exciting at times, and it fills my freezer with fresh Salmon and Halibut for a year.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!
